구동사 1 Across

기본형 : S + get + across + A : A를 건너다

It is much safer to get across the road at traffic lights.

숙어형 : S + V + across + A : S가 V하여 A를 건나다

He ran across the road = He got across the road by running. (그는 도로를 뛰어 건넜다)

1. 고양이가 얼른 길 건너 건물 안으로 들어갔다 = The cat poped across the road into the building.

2. 그는 날아서(비행기로) 태평양을 건넜다 = He flew across the Pacific.

3. 참새가 뜰을 포르륵포르륵 가로질러 갔다  = The sparrows flitted across the yard.

4. 고양이가 총알같이 거리를 건넜다 = The cat shot across the street.

5. 그녀는 미끄러지듯이 길을 건넜다 = She slid across the road.

6. 고양이가 미끄러지듯이 홀을 가로질러 갔다 = The cat slipped across the hall

7. 기러기 몇마리가 미끄러지듯이 호수를 헤엄쳐 건너갔다 = Some geese glided across the lake.

8. 그 군인은 얼어붙은 강을 조심스럽게 건너갔다 = The soldier edged across the frozen river. (edge 는 옆걸음으로 가다)

9. 양이 떼를 지어 강을 건넜다 = The sheep flocked across the river.

10 . 그는 성큼성큼 방을 가로질러 그녀에게 갔다 = He strode across the room to her.

11. 그는 말에 박차를 가하여 전속력으로 질주해서 들판을 건너갔다 = He spurred the horse and took off at a gallop across the field.

12. 승리의 표정이 살짝 그녀의 얼굴을 가로질러 갔다 = A look of triumph stole across her face.

13. 그녀는 춤을 추면서 홀을 가로질러 그녀의 남편에게로 갔다 = She danced across the hall to her husband

14. 그가 어둠 속에서 탈출할 수 있을 것이라는 생각이 섬광처럼 그의 마음을 가로질러 갔다 = The idea flashed across his mind that he could be able to escape in the darkness.
